MINDFUL CREATIVITY

AS A WAY OF LIFE

Mariposa Arts believes in the power of Creativity as a catalyst for healing,

allowing us to process our experiences, traumas and stressors.

Our Projects are ways you can join us and support us.

We use strategic partnerships at the organizational, sponsor and community level

with an entrepreneurial approach to community building that is

human-centered and promotes the values of “belong-ship”*.

I am, at the core of myself a spiritual being, a woman, an immigrant, a family-centered person who is creative and an entrepreneur.

I am Argentinian, informed by my upbringing in South & North America, who is bilingual in English and Spanish. Although English is now my native tongue it was not my birth tongue.

My heritage is Italian and Indigenous. I am moved to joyful tears by both the flavors of my youth and the sound of the Andean flute.

Cancer does not define who I am but it is an experience that has altered me and continues to do so, as the struggles of survival-ship are real. Inadvertently, it has led me to do work within myself that has made me curious about the many avenues to post-traumatic growth (PTG). Most days, I feel so alive, filled with the knowledge that I know so little, hungry to learn and experience more.

What I want most of all is to be my authentic self and to be present in the everyday.

I serve on the Board of Directors for Delaware Shakespeare and am a member of their Strategic Planning Committee. Together we are striving to see everyone’s humanity and dismantle racism through the arts. Check out their website for the many anti-racism initiatives they’ve under taken, I’m so proud to be a small part of carrying out their mission!
